Our care for people living with a dementia is as individual as each of our residents and they set the routines, with support from our caring team. We work with dementia care experts, concentrating on creating purposeful and meaningful activities to keep life interesting and fun.  We know that each person is an individual, and every single person living with a dementia is unique so we ensure their care is personalised.

By creating the right environment, we aim to minimise anxiety and promote overall health and well being to each of our residents. Ryhope Manor Care Home  is designed to enhance our residents’ quality of life by providing features to maximise independence, as well as creating a safe, stimulating and restful sanctuary.

Supporting Families

At Ryhope Manor Care Home we understand that facing the fact that a loved one is living with dementia and is unable to cope alone independently can mean addressing some challenging and difficult times. Whether a resident is living with dementia or receiving nursing or residential care, we provide unrivalled levels of support to all our residents’ family, including events to help families better understand the condition.

The Registered Manager is a trained Demential Champion Level 3 and all staff are trained in Demential Level 2.
